UFC 84 : Ill Will- My predictions

May 24 is the scheduled date for the next Ultimate Fighting Championship card, titled Ill Will and taking place in Las Vegas Nevada at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Headlining the card is the much anticipated fight between Sean "Muscleshark" Sherk and BJ "The Prodigy" Penn. The build-up to this fight has been intense in part due to the amount of time that fight fans have had to wait to see both of these tremendous fighters get back in the cage. Sherk has not fought since his 7/7/2007 win over Hermes Franca while Penn has not fought since his January 2008 submission victory over Joe Stevenson. This card also features Wanderlei "Axe-Murderer" Silva against Keith "Dean of Mean" Jardine. Jardine recently took a decision victory over the long reigning 205 pound champion Chuck Liddell while Wandy's last fight was an epic battle against Liddell that the judges gave to Chuck. Don't be fooled by those two previous outcomes however, as Wanderlei is one of the most feared fighters to ever step foot into the cage, once racking up 17 straight victories over top notch competition in Japan. Tito! Love him or hate him, Tito Ortiz is generating a lot of buzz ahead of this card as his previous bad boy image in the cage has led to a full time relationship with adult movie star Jenna Jameson and a stint on Donald Trump's Apprentice Reality show. This card features Tito in his return to the UFC after almost a year of talk talk and more talk but not much more. His last bout was a completely unimpressive decision win over The Ultimate Fighter champion Rashad Evans. This card features the one time biggest name in MMA in Ortiz against a potential future champion in Lyoto Machida. Rounding out the rest of the card, we get to see... Wilson Gouveia vs. Goran Reljic
